Questions, answered

Can't find what you're after? Give Michael a call on 0412 300 094 or Andrew on 0400 585 573 and we'll point you in the right direction.

Where do you work?

We're based in Mackay and service Queensland and New South Wales — from Cairns, Townsville and the Whitsundays, through Mackay and Rockhampton, down to the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, plus regional areas in between. Not sure we cover your site? Just ask.

What types of jobs do you take on?

Roads and highways, intersections, car parks, warehouses, industrial sites, mining and airports — for councils, government departments, civil contractors and commercial clients.

What's the difference between thermoplastic and CAP (Cold Applied Plastic)?

Both thermoplastic line marking and Cold Applied Plastic (CAP) are durable pavement marking systems, but they are applied differently. Thermoplastic is heated before application and cools quickly to form a hard-wearing marking, making it ideal for roads, intersections and other high-traffic areas.

CAP is a two-component material that cures through a chemical reaction without needing to be heated. It creates a tough, highly durable finish and is particularly suited to areas exposed to heavy traffic and frequent wear.

The best option depends on the surface, traffic conditions and project requirements. Lined Australia can recommend the most suitable system for your job.

What are audio tactile lines?

They're raised-profile lines that create noise and vibration when a vehicle's tyres cross them, alerting drivers who drift out of their lane. They're a proven safety measure on highways.

Do you do floor coatings as well as line marking?

Yes. We apply epoxy coatings, anti-slip finishes and seamless flake floors for workshops, warehouses and industrial sites — including grinding and preparation, and marking out safety zones.
